“Great Scottish Coos.” Since the Highland Cattle in Scotland snubbed my and wouldn’t allow me a good pic while I was there, I had to rely on the imports in Pennsylvania to represent their furry breed in my photos.  This was taken near Bedford, Pennsylvania.

Moose in Denali National Park, one of the “Big 5” species to see while there, along with Grizzly bears, wolves, caribou, and Dall sheep.

Speaking of the “Big 5”, here is a Dall sheep in Denali National Park, Alaska.  They have the right of way there.  Even if it means making two busloads full of people sit still while they contemplate life and don’t budge for large amounts of time, they are not to be hurried along at all.  And private vehicles aren’t allowed into the park, so its only the experienced bus drivers that they have to deal with. Good policy, as you can tell the animals are not in fear of the humans and put on a lovely display in their natural habitat because of it.
